We just visited the new location and it just doesn't have the same appeal as it used to. The food was good and the cook was very entertaining but the atmosphere just doesn't match the type of restaurant IMO.

Great food and great service. I don't know why this place has a low rating. The only thing I didn't like is the public celebration of birthdays but that's just a personal preference and a lot of places do this.

Food was good. Service was good. As far as ambiance, you should know what you're getting given the strip mall it's located at, so no surprise there. Prices are pretty high, but welcome to the new USA. But if you're craving hibachi, or you have a birthday celebration, this place will do.

So mad this place is closing. You can go to any teppenyaki place and get a show, but this place has something I haven't had at any other place- the yum yum sauce. That freaking yum yum sauce I could drink up. We went recently and there was a family of locals who were regulars and they were not shy about how much yum yum sauce they wanted. I thought it was just us, but these guys just kept ordering it. I don't know why they don't bottle it because it's that freaking good. If you haven't tried it, come. It's kind of a sweet aioli (I don't know if there's mayo in it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have kewpie mayo in it). They're not closing because the place isn't good. It's shocking how many cars are in the parking lot everytime I drive by. It's just that ChikFilA is taking over the location, so Fujiyama is moving down the street. Our chef told us that they might not reopen in the new location for 6 months to a year, so he's moving on because he can't be unemployed that long. That has me worried. Are they truly going to reopen? Because if they don't, I'm not ever going to get that yum yum sauce again and you have to try this. The fried rice and the steak is so good by itself, but add that yum yum sauce and the food goes to another level. Anyway, the service is great and the chefs really do a great job entertaining you. I'm gonna keep going till the day they close, but I'm going to be praying they come back once they're gone.
